Sub Effects (page 3)

Editing Sub Effects

You can edit sub effects just like regular effects. You can rearrange sub effects within the same effect, but you can’t drag a sub effect to a different effect.

To move a sub effect to a different effect:

  1. Select the sub effect.
  2. Hold the Option key while selecting Copy Effect from the Edit menu. (This copies only the selected effect.)
  3. Delete the effect.
  4. Select the text, image, or video effect that you want to apply the copied effect to.
  5. Make sure that the Will Add Sub Effect button is yellow.
  6. Choose Paste Effect from the Edit menu.

Deleting Sub Effects

You can delete a sub effect just like regular effects. In addition, if you delete the image or text effect with sub effects, all of the sub effects belonging to that image or text effect will also be deleted.
